We develop smart transport concepts and continuously optimize them to combine ecological responsibility with economic efficiency, conserve resources, and reduce emissions. In close cooperation with our transport service providers, we rely on environmentally friendly means of transport – whether by land, sea, or air. Through our services, we help our customers reduce their ecological footprint in their supply chains and make their logistics processes more sustainable. As Services & Solutions, we develop transport concepts that work like a precise clockwork – efficient, digital, and resource-saving. Our goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while operating economically. Employees & Society form the heartbeat of our company. We create a work culture that empowers people and encourages them to take responsibility for the environment and society. In Environment & Resources, we rely on green technologies and digital solutions to minimize the environmental impact. With every step, we design logistics that conserve our natural resources and are future-proof.
Our fields of action
The business model of Würth Logistics is based on consolidating the freight volume of the globally operating Würth Group and external customers. With transport concepts – such as procurement and distribution hubs and round trips – we consolidate transport volumes, make optimal use of cargo space, and reduce empty trips. For our flows of goods, we calculate greenhouse gas emissions, providing our customers with transparency in the balance sheet of their own transports and key figures for their reporting. As a 4PL provider, we rely on a partnership with transport service providers and expect them to also commit to the defined sustainability goals.

In addition to our resource-saving transport concepts, we automate and digitize our processes in transport handling. We provide all relevant information and transport documents via our online platform, thereby avoiding large amounts of printed paper. This not only reduces material consumption but also improves the efficiency and transparency of our processes. In collaboration with our transport service providers, we use modern and low-emission vehicles wherever possible.
