We use the high-performance SAP Transportation Management System for smooth transport processes. As a “one-for-all” service provider, we use this to manage the supply chains of our customers across the globe and for all types of transportation, i.e. by truck, rail, sea freight, and air freight.

Logging into our Transport Management Platform opens the door to the entire Würth Logistics network of service providers. The Platform also offers many flexible access options for customers - such as direct integration with an EDI interface, access via our Online Portal, and for very small companies simply sending transport order e-mails.

The EDI interface to the IT system of our customers obviously offers the greatest benefits here. When this is in place, the systems then exchange all relevant information for the transport order. No manual entries are required in this case. Status updates and transport costs are automatically determined. Our service obviously also includes creation and maintenance of the interface. 

The Online Portal of the Transport Management Platform offers user-friendly input and output screens. From the fast entry function for transport orders, all the way up to transport evaluations and reports at the touch of a button – efficient order management for all types of transport comes as standard with us.

Freight cost management

Before your shipment is even collected, we calculate the anticipated costs for you and then update these once we have received the respective service provider’s invoice. You receive just one invoice from us for all types of transport and all service providers used, keeping everything transparent and traceable. Having just one central location for all shipments makes it easier for you to evaluate and analyze your flows of goods.

Track-&-Trace

You can keep an eye on your consignment and see where it is currently located at all times. You can also view the expected arrival time, which offers you both planning reliability and flexibility.

Easy access

The Online Portal does not require any installation and allows you to access our Transport Management Platform via your web browser. This opens the door to our global network of transport service providers with powerful partners.
